A funny thing happened on Main St. today... I came upon 2 farmers who lovingly held a cardboard box filled with heirloom tomatoes, en route to a delivery. Following at a distance, I stealthily ambushed them at their truck, money in hand, and came away with these magic and lustrous fruits...mmm...
The two cute farmers were Brandie and Michael of Monkey in the Garden Organic Farm. Their farm is near Spences Bridge, BC, close to the stunning Stein Valley Nlaka'pamux Heritage Provincial Park. There's tons of great photos on their Flickr page. I especially love this one - an aerial shot of the cultivated rows.
And.... they have goats!

I'm jealous. That's some nice fruit, and some nice purchasing.
I know eh?
